Are you willing to meet for an interview?
Absolutely! Our free consultation prior to you making a decision is a great opportunity to understand your event and how we can serve your needs.
Can you provide references?
Definitely! References are available upon request.
What kind of experience do you have?
SoundStage has over 7 years of experience. We have serviced events ranging in sizes from small and intimate to thousands of guests, including Weddings, Graduation Parties, Birthday Parties, Corporate Events, Conventions and Non-Profit Fundraisers.
What kind of equipment do you use?
SoundStage uses state of the art digital mixing techniques. Our equipment includes laptops, amplifiers, speakers, lighting effects and microphones. Fog machines available upon request, at no additional charge.
Will you provide a written contract?
SoundStage always provides a written contract agreeable to both parties.
Does your contract price include set-up time?
SoundStage only charges for the time music is requested to be played.
Prior to the event, will you help with the music selection?
Based on our expertise, we can offer suggestions.
Are you knowledgeable in all types of music?
SoundStage DJs have a very versatile and eclectic taste in virtually all types of music. Our Music Library is extensive and diverse.
Are you willing to play requests?
We always take requests unless instructed otherwise by the host.
Will your DJ emcee the event?
Yes. During our consultation we will get an understanding of how active a role you want the DJ to have, ensuring the music and DJ enhance your event, not take away from it.
When, and how often, will your DJ be speaking at the event?
Our DJs are trained in event hosting to recognize when it is appropriate to make announcements. We are there to put the spotlight on you.
Will your DJ be suitably dressed for the occasion? What will he/she be wearing?
SoundStage is always professionally dressed (suit/dress), unless otherwise requested. Tuxedo attire is available upon request.
Do I need to provide a meal for the DJ and if so, should it be the same meal that I am serving the guests?
Providing meals is not necessary; however, we request to be notified prior to the event so our DJs can plan their own meals.
